Instra:Mental – When I Dip (Unreleased)

Breakage – It’s Over (feat. Roses Gabor)

I finally reinstalled about half of my music software on my new(ish) laptop, based (pretty much) solely upon the fact that there were a handful of tracks on some recent mixes I copped that I couldn't find stand alone versions of. Solution? Rip 'em off and load 'em up. Good news for both you AND me, seeing as how I doubt you'll find alot of these gems anywhere else. ENJOI.

DJ Ayres – Pimp Trick Gangsta Click Mixtape

"I’m doing a party this Thursday from 8-11 called Classics. The idea is to play a classic album and the music which inspired it, along with the music inspired by it; this Thursday that album is Aquemini. In getting my crates together for the party, I thought I would make a mix. So here it is, the Pimp Trick Gangsta Click mixtape." (Courtesy of the Rub's website. This mixtape is the troof kids, you gotta cop it.)

Xiu Xiu – Gray Death

I feel like Xiu Xiu is one of those bands you either really love or really hate. I happen to fall firmly on side of love, a feeling further cemented by the release of this track. You can find it on the forthcoming album titled ‘Dear God, I Hate Myself,' dropping Feb. 23rd.

Crystal Fighters -I Love London (Lorcan Mak remix)

I love Crystal Fighters, but this track? Not so much. Lorcan Mak's gone and thrown a decidedly dancefloor beat on to it, and you know what... I'm kinda vibing on it. Just goes to show a little bit of rave horn can make anything better :p

Eve, “Me N My (prod. by Salaam Remi & Benga)”

Never in a million years would I imagine writing something positive about Eve, who I normally can't stand, but goddamn this track is catchy. A huge part of it's appeal is clearly the beat, put together Salaam Remi and borrowed from UK dubstep legend Benga. Don't knock it till you hear it.
